Fan Fest News would like to wish a very happy birthday today to the lovely and talented Katie Cassidy! She is turning 31 years old today.
Cassidy first made her major film debut in 2006’s When a Stranger Calls and she also starred in Black Christmas during that same year. She then crossed over to television with her reoccurring role as Ruby during the third season of the hit series Supernatural. She also appeared in reoccurring roles on Melrose Place, A Nightmare on Elm Street and Gossip Girl. Cassidy is best known for her breakout role as Laurel Lance/Black Canary on the CW series Arrow. She has also appeared as the character on The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow.
In addition to being a fan favorite within the Arrowverse, Cassidy is also a frequent guest and fan favorite at Heroes and Villains Fan Fest events around the world.
