Thursday Nielsen Social Ratings are in and Shondaland once again dominates the top 5.
Scandal jumped from number three to number one this week in the top 5 with 179,000 interactions. The political drama was up week to week from its 158,000 interactions last week.
Supernatural was relatively steady week-to-week, coming in second place with 154,000 interactions. The veteran CW series just shed 5,000 interactions.
Elsewhere in Shondaland, Grey’s Anatomy moved up a spot to number three but lost about 8,000 interactions week to week. How to Get Away with Murder rounded out the top 5, staying relatively steady, gaining 10,000 interactions this week.
Series that didn’t make the top 5 this week: The Good Place, Will & Grace, and Superstore fall finales.
As a Refresher: The Content Ratings use the total number of social interactions across Facebook and Twitter to rank the top 5 series/specials and sporting events, separately. The chart includes uniques, which are “unique social media accounts that have authored original content related to a linear TV episode or engaged with that content,” and interactions, which are “original social media posts related to a linear TV episode and the engagement with that content.”
